Experience life at BLI's 400+ Acre Teaching campus section in Nandere, Luweero District. Our Caretaker Trainees work and learn in our practical learning centres, rotating through livestock care, soil health management, herbal gradens, natural fertilizers, natural pesticides, agroforestry systems, vegetable production, waste management. each trainee is assigned a 10x10m plot where they execute real life projects (innovations) in livestock management,crop production,environmental conservation and farm structure.

There are two categories of Teaching Staff, Formatters(Classroom Instructors) and Incubators(Field instructors). An incubator(do practicals with students) is an assistant to formatter creating a better way of transferring knowledge and skill to learners , while a Formatter delivers theoretical instruction, designs lesson plans, explains core concepts, and guides students’ academic understanding within the classroom environment. Each instructor brings years of practical expertise and a passion for transforming rural Uganda.
